Fees
Fee
Legal services are charged according to the German Lawyers‘ Fees Act (RVG) or according to a fee agreement.
The amount of the hourly fee or the lump sum depends on the matter and the expected effort.
Aim of the consultation is to answer your questions and to give you an assessment of your legal situation, in particular to clarify whether you need legal representation or whether you can continue to act without legal assistance. If you decide to become a client during or after the consultation, the payment made for the initial consultation will be credited against the fee to be paid later.
A detailed initial consultation in family law and international family law lasting approximately one hour is available in my office for a flat fee of € 226,10 (including VAT).
For a consultation on immigration law, the consultation fee is €180.00 (incl. VAT).
In the case of complex issues requiring more extensive counselling and preparation, I reserve the right to raise the counselling fee to € 210.08 plus VAT, i.e. € 250.00, or to charge by hour.
The above information also applies to telephone or counselling via Skype video conference.
If you have legal expenses insurance, it may cover the costs of the initial consultation in family law matters. Please obtain a written confirmation of coverage from your legal expenses insurance in advance.
I also offer payment by credit card (American Express, Mastercard, Visa, Maestro), EC card or Paypal.
If your financial means are low, you can apply for legal aid at your local court. If you are granted counselling assistance, please bring the counselling assistance voucher with you to the counselling session and you will then also have a personal contribution of € 15.
